Everyday

Soaking in the beauty that’s all around me
Each day something manages to astound me
Staying up all night to experience every moment
This life is what I make so I’m gonna own it

Living with eyes wide open so I can see my blessings
My mind is working overtime so I can learn my lessons
Dancing to the beat of my own drummer inside my chest
No one can tell me it’s wrong because it’s my best

Singing the sun up in the morning even when it rains
Worries don’t seem to last long because joy remains
Creating in hopes to bring more love to mankind
Love is right before you, seek and you shall find

Offering up my supplication to the Most High
I want to get it right on this try
Praying someday someone will join me in all of this
Because even the sun has the horizon to kiss
