African Queen

Skin beautiful and black
The wind at your back
A sista with an ancient soul
Worth  much more than pure gold
The Lord holds you in His hand
So boldly you may stand
Blessed and you know it’s true
Giving to those what was given to you
African queen wear your heritage with pride
Your loveliness do not hide
It’s in your breasts which fed the world
It’s in your heart, a true black pearl
On your back you carried man
Holding him up when he could not stand
A village for the children are your loving arms
Treasures for memories, your abundant charms
African queen hold your head up high
Don't let your ancient spirit die
