I found a place where I can be peaceful
Where there is joy and love
Here there are no worries
There are no judgments to be found
I could stay there forever, if allowed
Each moment feels like forever anyway
I found a place where there is serenity
My thoughts stop racing
Though my heart threatens to take over
This place is filled with a warm light
And it penetrates my soul
Its energy builds and fortifies me
Strengthening me for when I must go
And I must go, eventually
Though I may leave this place
It will stay with me always
