Hinder not the Children

And what about the children?
What hardships must they bear
Suffering from their fathers’ sins
A badge of shame to wear

The righteous will never be forsaken
Nor their children begging bread
Partiality must be shaken
Take such oppression from their heads

Do not Jah children belong to InI?
Are they not all ours to share
Every breast should leak when they cry
Every heart ready to care

For InI are the keepers of tomorrow
Keep the youth from dis-ease
Let them not know sorrow
For Jah kingdom belongs to these.
