Shoutin My Wishes

 

Dancin beneath the light of the new moon

Shouting my wishes to the universe and

offerin up my prayers to the Most High

askin H.I.M. to bring my hearts desire

My heart is racin from the exhileration

of hope pumpin through my veins

feels like it will burst and a thousand

tears and a ton of laughter will pour

out onto the ground with no way to retrieve them

I’ve come too far to let fear and hesitation distract

me from my trod to the throne as the rightful heiress

I’m kickin up my heels cuz this time feels like the righttime, the time I get it right

Yes I’m shoutin my wishes for the world to hear tonight

No shame in my game, I know why I came

and destiny awaits me on the other side of this

light, from the NEW moon, and soon comes a

NEW day. I can’t help but smile, cuz pain,

disappointment, frustration, humiliation, ha ha

they all thought they had me. But woosh, like the

wind, I flew out of their grasps.

So I’m shoutin my wishes, sayin my prayers, clappin

my hands and doin my dance, cuz my time has come.
